The Lord Mayor’s Gift Gala

Lord Mayor Gala Dinner Marriott Royal

Join us for what promises to be another sell out extravaganza: The Lord Mayor of Bristol’s Gift Gala 2017 on Thursday 2 March 2017, this time at a new venue: Ashton Gate Stadium.

It follows the huge success of our 2016 event, heralded as one of the highlights of Bristol’s business and social calendar.

Guests will enjoy a drinks reception followed by a three-course dinner, live entertainment, the grand raffle and an auction with broadcaster and ‘Auction King’ Jamie Breese.

The event raises money for The Lord Mayor of Bristol’s Children Appeal, giving the city’s most disadvantaged children vouchers for food, clothing and gifts at Christmas.

It’s a hugely enjoyable evening that makes such a difference to children in need living here in Bristol.

Thanks to our Platinum Sponsor: Rybrook Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini and our Gold Sponsors: Ashfords LLP and Clifton Estate Agents, GWR and Soitron.

The dinner is supported by Barclays Bank with its pound for pound scheme, the company’s volunteer fundraising team members, and the Bristol Post.

Dress Code:  Strictly black-tie

“The vouchers helped go towards food for Christmas and clothes for my two little ones and it took a lot of stress off of me worrying about where I was going to find the extra money.
Once again I would like to say thank you on behalf of all that received the vouchers at Hillfields Young Mums Group.” Michelle, mum of two

“Each Christmas the women tell me that Christmas would be very different if they didn’t have the vouchers to make those important purchases the vouchers provide.

“The Lord Mayor’s vouchers help to support our work as it provide these women and their children with at least one day a year with the same opportunity as many others. This might mean; celebrating the festive season with a special gift for their child, a decent outfit to wear or a longed for toy or game.  I know the women we work with will agree with me, that even though the voucher scheme is once a year, the women and children’s lives are more enriched by having this additional support.

“Our thanks go to everyone who supports the Lord Mayor’s voucher scheme.” Mrs George Campbell-Touray, Development Manager, Hillfields Young Mothers Group.
